Feedback NEXT 14: The Moderator, Moebius Strip
Acid Washed:
Fantastic, album... with a lot of different fields to explore... Mature & beautifull!
Favorite track: Galaxy Jumper!!!
Anthony shakir:
Chilly and crispy sound tracks. when we were young, reject reality, and fornever are my faves of this project
Art Bleek:
There are some nice tracks in this album. Somewhat soulful despite the cold approach of certain sounds... Nice work.
Christopher à olak (halfstereo.com):
Excdellent tunes combined in a real Rotterdam perspective all around Detroit techno and electro. Nice ambients and melody chords as well. Lovely release. Full support.
Dansor:
Nizzze oldschool feel, beautiful listening album.
Dave Mothersole:
Some great tracks on here. ultrasound is lovely. also really like reject reality - but they are all good. cool album.
Guilherme M:

Kent Williams (chaircrusher):
The Moderator obviously loves the electro and techno of Detroit, but this album is more than imitation of those styles. These tracks are warm, lush, and evocative. He is a master of big, swirling, dreamy clouds of sustained analog synth sounds.
Lanoiraude:
Beautiful music !! The jazzfunk of "Cold Logic" will be played in my radio show. I like also "True" for the feet !
Laurent Garnier:
Proper old school Detroit soft melodic techno trip. Realy like this . Will present on the radio
Thanks for the link
Matthew Puffett (Future Beat Alliance):
Hey, this all sounds amazing, i have only just skipped through it but what i checked sounds lush ! cant wait to have a proper listen and hopefully get the chance to play some of it out.. . thanks for this. M X

airplayreview: Almelo (NL) based producer Klaas-Jan Jongsma a.k.a. The Moderator worked the last year at the tracks of his first full length which now is finally released on digital download format by Eevo Next Recordings. Basing his sound on Detroit influences, minimal techno intuitions and atmospheric patterns, Klaas-Jan on the MOBIUS STRIP delivers twelve hypnotic tunes that are in balance from electro to techno. Focusing his sound on basslines, arpeggiated leads and dreamy synth lines The Moderator is creating a particular sound where melody is an option because it's there but it isn't the main element. This way of dealing with atmosphere and melody sometimes make me lose my attention because I find myself dizzy and almost hypnotized but I think that this was the effect that Klaas-Jan was looking for...

comments: Mooi album hoor.
Victor Coral:
Thanx for the promo!
Please keep them coming
Nice album, only a little too 'Detroit' for my dj sets though...
Vince Watson:
A kindly reminder of why we love this avenue of electronic soul so much...picks of the bunch are True, Ages of Ikki and Fornever.
Vince Woolums:
Great lush techno, both up mid and lowtemp. Really feeling the acid lines and retro Detroit vibe. Hard to get in the groove with the sample tracks, but really heady and mellow record. I think overall it's a bit more mellow than I like, but then again I'm at work right now and prefer a bit more 'moving' tracks to keep my energy up throughout the day. I enjoyed Ages of Ikki, Moebius Strip, Cold Logic, When We Were Young, and Reject Reality a lot. Thanks again for the chance to hear :)
Youri Youzee (365mag.com):
Fantastic. Superb. If you come up with a debut album like this, you're here to stay! Full support!
